Independiente Medellin lead the way in the Finalizacion stage of the Colombian Liga Postobon despite having played a match less than their nearest challengers following a convincing 3-0 win over Deportivo Cali at the weekend.

Santiago Trellez’s injury time third (1:58) is very well taken and definitely worth a watch:

Atletico Nacional are level with Independiente Medellin on six points after recording a 4-2 victory away to America de Cali in a highly entertaining match. Dorlan Pabon was the star of the show, scoring twice and setting up another:

Real Cartagena’s previously unblemished record was spoilt by a 3-2 defeat away to Cucuta Deportivo, leaving Real also level on six points at the top the table.

Atletico Hulia are the fourth side sharing the spoils at the top of the table after a 1-0 home win over Deportes Tolima.

A superb long-range effort from Jose Tancredi saw Millonarios win 1-0 away to Once Caldas.

A hat-trick from veteran striker Victor Cortes helped Junior to a convincing 4-0 win over Deportes Quindio, although it was the fourth goal, scored by Carlos Bacca (3:52) that was by far the standout.

Goals in injury time of each half were enough to see Envigado past La Equidad in a 2-0 away victory. Envigado’s second, scored by Armando Carrillo was very well taken.

Itagui 1-1 Boyaca Chico

The final result of the weekend was a 0-0 draw between Santa Fe and Deportivo Pereira.
